Nashville, TN - Mason Massey, age 10 of Winston, clinched the Track Championship at the famed Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee. The championship at the historic track is a great accomplishment considering the likes of Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, Sterling Marlin and other NASCAR stars have won championships at the same track.
Massey's consistency led to a strong points season at the track. He had 4 wins, 3 second place finishes and also had fastest qualifying laps 4 separate times.
At the post-season banquet in Nashville, Massey will be presented with a championship guitar which has been a Nashville racing tradition for many years.
